Default 26 years since first visiting another world

As Frank Borman said:

"And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a
Merry Christmas, and God bless all of you - all of you on the good Earth."

We can get people to the Moon in five years,

I'm feeling really old now...old enough to fire Bob Cratchit if he is
even one minute late to work today.
Apollo? Bah...humbug!
(Little did Pat suspect that even as he wrote, the shade of Wernher von
Brain was ascending the apartment stairs...
"Pat...PAT! These were the service umbilicals I wore in life! Fear them!
Instead of the Christmas spirit, I thought of spirits only as fuel for
missiles!") :-)

....For those of us who watched it live, this is pretty damn true.

Yes, I was just recalling those words as well. And trying real hard to
really remember.

Whatever spiritual, cultural, or festival time you celebrate - we do "Merry
Christmas" where I'm from - please have a an enjoyable and safe one.
