Update About September 29 Toutatis Asteroid

Linda Moulton Howe will be the quest on Coast To Coast AM tonight
talking about the latest update information about the Toutatis asteroid.

The Coast To Coast AM website is featuring a link to'Orbitviewer', a
real cool interactive Java applet that displays the orbit of asteroids
in our solar system in 3D, where you can view the 'near miss' of
Toutatis, as it passes by the Earth!???

Rudolph really, really craves the attention one gets while yelling "the
sky is falling!"

Things have been falling down onto the Earth from space since it was
formed, so you could say, in a certain sense, that the sky is, was, and
will be falling, for a long time to come. Simply because most of what
falls into our atmosphere might be the size of a grain of sand...

You don't have to worry. It was a boring interview. Linda Moulton Howe
talked about Toutatis, and she had some audio clips (she played) of
interviews she had conducted with some scientists. The gist of it was
that you don't have to worry about a giant asteroid hitting the Earth,
at least for another million years or so.

What a let down! I was expecting to hear about some great suspensful
impending disaster so I could come to sci.astro screaming, "The sky is
falling! The sky is falling..." Well, the sky is falling, but what is
falling is probably smaller than a grain of sand, and most all of that
burns up in the atmosphere, right?

Innocent posters should beware of these jerks, the so called gang of
skeptic-trolls, of which DrPostman is one of the ringleaders. They are a
bunch of jerks and should be ignored, since they contribute nothing of
substance to any conversation.

That idiot, DrPostman, is a complete idiot if he/she/or it, take my
jokes too seriously. Only a moron with no sense of humor would take
seriously comments like those that were obviously made in jest. Are you
really that dumb, DrPostman? We all know who you are and what you do.
You, and a few others here, try to pass yourself off as a skeptics and
attack anyone who makes posts here. Well, you are not scaring anyone
off. We will post here just as much as we want, and no jerk like you can
do anything about it.

And yet you reply to my posts. That's very telling, Rudy.

What joke? You have a sense of humor? Where?

We all know who you are and what you do.

Please, do tell us all.

We can continue to show you up for the fearmonger and fool that you
always are. That's enough.

I fart in your general direction. Now go away before I taunt you
a second time.

Even the dumbest of fools has the right to post here if they want, and I
welcome them all.

You can scare off some of the people some of the time, but you can't
scare off all of the people all of the time. (You can quote me on that.)

McDoughal and DrPostman are the fools if they think they can stop me
from posting. You guys remind me of Abbot and Costello. Whose on first?

Well, actually, I won't begrudge you posting your 'sceptical' rants,
your virulent attacks on every innocent poster who passes by, if that is
what you enjoy doing. Knock yourselves out. Be my guest. Attack my
posts, attack everyone's posts, all you want. What would sci.astro be
without you guys?

I make very few posts here. Mostly I read posts made by others. I've
told you all thousands times that I am not an astronomer, and really
don't care much about the subject; however, I do find reading some of
the posts here very entertaining. So, here I am. If you don't like my
posts don't read them. Nobody is forcing you to read and respond to my
posts. You can make negative comments if you want. Some folks, like the
so called 'sceptics' here, are better at making negative comments, of
trying to tear things down, instead of making positive comments, and
building things up. Some folks, like the so called 'sceptics' here, are
better at being negative, than they are at being positive. So, be
negative. Do your best to tear down what others might say. Do what you
know, don't be slow.

I am always happy to hear from my readers. Thanks for your comments.
