![]() Hi, I am curious to know when or if Comet LINEAR C/2002 T7 andC 2001 Q4 (NEAT) will be visible in the Northern Hemisphere? What are the best dates, where should one look and what magnitude are these expected to be at? Thanks bucko |

Thanks bucko NEAT is currently near the celestial south pole, and therefore not visible from the northern hemisphere. LINEAR is around magnitude 7, near Algenib in the square of Pegasus. If you can find Venus in the western sky soon after sunset, it's about 11 degrees (about the size of a clenched fist at arms length) away, up an right. DaveL |
