Default Field de-rotater

Is there anybody knowing if Meade or other manufacturers are going to
improve the existing Meade Field de-rotater?
The main problem with this piece of equipment is that it prevents the scope
from reaching objects located at 50+- degrees above the horizon, limiting
enormously the CCD imaging activity.

Thanks in advance

That is not a problem with the derotator, but the length of the scopes
forks.
Not much that can be done about it really...

Best Wishes

I can go to about +/-70 degrees on my LX200 12" classic. Just change the
limit value in the hand controller.
