Nope - unless the title of the newsgroup has 'binary' or 'binaries' in it
they're usually unwelcome on usenet. That said, I don't think anyone minds
too much these days as long as it's kept under 50KB although a lot of ISPs
(mine included) snip any attachement at all from a post in a non-binary
newsgroup...
