Default All My Equipment for Sale, Cheap!

Well I might as well, seeing as New England is never going to see clear
skies again, ever! You know what our forecast has been for the last two
weeks, cloudy, humid, chance of showers. Guess what it was today, cloudy,
humid, and showers. Want to know what the extended forecast is... What I
really want to know is who's responsible for this? Somebody somewhere must
have bought one heck of big a_ _ telescope!

OK, feel much better now.

I just bought a house and an acre and 1/2 of mountain property north
east of Tucson. Does that count?

Yep...I take the blame Brian...upgraded my 24 to a 30 portable in FEb;
I really didn't think it would affect the east coast weather that
much...I mean, we successfully kept it a secret from our other club
members for almost a year! So I didn't think the 'weather gods'
knew about it either!! ;-)
Clear Skies,
Tom W.

1/2 a mountain in AZ, I'd say that counts! Any plans to open up an astro
inn? Camp ground? Can I just rent a small patch of ground?
:-)

Congrats

And I thought that upgrade would have run it's course by now. It seems the
larger the apature the longer the period of poor conditions. :-)

Both of my week off from work were total disappointments for observing.

Catch you a Astroblast or BFSP.

Oddly enough, I saw on CNN this morning that the majority of Europe has been
experiencing drought/heat waves. Not sure about the heat but I can certainly
explain the drought. There's no rain left for anyone else because it's all
parked here over the East Coast! :-)

I suspect the rain has something to do with global warming, and the

trend
will continue for the next few decades. The snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro are
disappearing for the first time in recorded history, as well as the snows

on
many mountains in Peru and elsewhere. The future looks really bad for
telescope manufacturers.
Clearer skies than here.
