SLRN type filtering rebuffs current multi-post attack

SLRN type filtering is effective against inappropriate multi-post
attacks. By switching to an SLRN type filtering newsreader, such
attackers can be rendered ineffectual.

Since the multi-post attack began on this newgroup on 3-13-2008
(through 3-18-2008), the following are my filtering results:

Total posts 430
Content containing 26
Content containing filtered out 5 of 26
Subotal inappropriate posts 393
Inappropriate posts passing filters 10 of 393

Send multi-post attackers to where they belong - digital irrelevance.

newsgroup, using SLRN type filtering, it is easy to filter out posts
containing overlength subject lines. Add the following to your score
file:

% killfile if subject line is longer than a n characters
% set end to 1 plus your preference, e.g. 50, 80, 100 characters
Sco: -9999
Subject= .{81}
