It has been a few years since I had the FS102 out for any imaging so I
thought it would be a good idea to get it out and use it. It was fairly breezy through the whole weekend. I had heard that gail warnings were posted for the lakes. The light weight FS 102 did not move a bit in the wind throughout the night when mounted on my CG-11 mount. This is data from this morning with the moon still up. I used the telescope @ f/8 and shot 4 subs totaling 30 minutes with the modded Canon 400D @ 800asa. There is a small galaxy near the right lower edge. Joe |

Very nice picture Joe. Processing looks spot on, you have a nice grey sky
background for the nebula. You often see images of M45 where even the empty sky looks blue. Stefan "J McBride" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Best I can do is one star at a time. The red star in its center came out well. Seems so out of place, especially visually. Most photos so over expose it you don't see the color like you do in your shot. Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. ... Hey, that's one beautiful image! Love it! I had the use of an FS102 on a Tak mount that a friend let me use for a weekend. It provided great wide-vield views. George N |
