Launch Delay of the Space Shuttle Discovery
(STS-114 / International Space Station Assembly Resumption Mission
(LF-1) with Astronaut Noguchi onboard)

At around 4:30 p.m. on July 13 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), or 5:30
a.m. July 14 Japan Standard Time (JST), the National Aeronautics and
Space administration (NASA) announced that it has postponed the launch
of the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-114 / International Space Station
Assembly Resumption Mission (LF-1)) from NASA Kennedy Space Center in
Florida, U.S.A.
The following is the new official launch schedule announced by NASA.

The earliest possible attempt will be no earlier than July 16 (ETD) or
July 17 (JST).

NASA revealed that the launch was delayed because an anomaly was found
in the liquid fuel tank sensor system during countdown operations.
NASA is now investigating the cause.
