NASA ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSES WOMEN IN AEROSPACE

NASA Administrator Michael D. Griffin is speaking to the Women in
Aerospace (WIA) organization, as it celebrates its 20th year, on May 3. The
event begins at 7:30 a.m. EDT at the Capitol Hill Club, 300 First Street,
SE, Washington. The event is open to the news media.

Griffin will discuss NASA's efforts to implement the Vision for Space
Exploration, safely return the Space Shuttle to flight and other issues of
interest to the aerospace community.

WIA is dedicated to expanding women's opportunities for leadership and
increasing their visibility in the aerospace community. Its membership,
women and men, shares an interest in a broad spectrum of aerospace issues.

satellite communications, robotic space exploration, and the policy issues
surrounding these fields.
