FARNSWORTH ELEMENTARY STUDENT NAMED FINALIST IN NATIONAL SPACE DAY CONTEST

EAGAN, MN, March 24, 2005

Emmy Xiong, a fifth-grade student at Farnsworth Elementary School in St.
Paul, was named a national finalist in the 2005 Space Day T-shirt Design
Contest.

More than 800 fourth- to sixth-grade students in 10 states participated in
the contest, which was judged by the national Space Day program and
sponsored by Lockheed Martin Corporation. The students submitted artwork
that reflected the theme "Return to the Moon."

The national finalists' artwork -- seven pieces in all -- will be featured
on the Space Day Foundation Web site (http://www.spaceday.org). The artwork
also will be highlighted in a display of the contest's top 100 entries at
the 2005 Space Day celebration on May 5 at the National Air and Space
Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Va., near Washington,
D.C.

Space Day, an educational initiative established by Lockheed Martin in 1997,
uses space-related activities to inspire and prepare young people to pursue
careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Today more than 75 national and local corporations, trade associations,
federal agencies, youth organizations and school districts facilitate Space
Day activities for thousands of students in all 50 states and Canada. For
