Gee, who would have guessed, with trillions of barrels of hydrocarbon
products just having been discovered, that the price of gas goes *up*?

Scott, don't you know. When there's a shortage. Prices go up. When
there's plenty, prices go up. :-)

How long does it take to get from 'discovered' to 'fill'er up'

Even if ETs were offering to deliver the stuff of Titan free of charge,
it'll never happen if the likes of Halburton and ENRON remain involved.
The natural gas and oil cartel is nearly 'All-American' with an Arab
cloak having that rather unfortunate connection into the Laden family
tree.
What part of knowing-thy-enemy and snookering-thy-humanity over global
energy and the supposed global warming that's supposed to not even exist
according to our resident warlord, is going over your head?
These topics about our moon and even those of Venus are not even
entirely my ideas about what's obtainable from the likes of our moon,
nor are my views upon what the leading nations could and should have
been doing in the meantime that should drop raw oil to below $10/barrel
within the decade.
We'll probably never have a direct He3 fusion power-plant under the
hood, but wouldn't you rather be driving an environmentally friendly yet
incredibly powerful and long-range Sport SUV on the likes of H2O2 and
only a little C12H26, or how about a liquid hydrogen powered form of
personal transport that's good for 500+ miles per tank??
In your dreams if the prevailing 'Skull and Bones' status quo has
anything to say.
