Which would be easier to do with the horizontal Sat V at KSC than the
vertical full size model in Huntsville.

....How so? IIRC, there's a sidewalk running parallel to the Huntsville
S-V as there is at JSC. Just set two legs of the tripod on the edge of
the sidewalk, and start moving down one end to the other.
