Armstrong added to Inventing Flight lineup

The first man to walk the moon, Neil Armstrong, will participate in
Inventing Flight's opening ceremony Thursday.
Inventing Flight officials said Wednesday that Armstrong, a Wapakoneta
native, has accepted their invitation. He will participate in the
ceremony with former astronaut and U.S. Sen. John Glenn.
The opening ceremony launches Thursday at Fifth Third Field and will
include a variety of entertainment and flight-related attractions. The
centennial celebration itself is scheduled to run through July 20 and
will include a July 4 appearance by President George W. Bush.
Tickets are $125 per person for the opening ceremony.
Inventing Flight was formed in 1989 to celebrate the Dayton area's
role in the birth and evolution of motored aviation and as home to the
Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur.
