Default The Horsehead Nebula 21Jan 2007

Here's my latest attempt at imaging the Horsehead. What an effort. You can
spend days postprocessing just to get the best rendering. This image was
taken with a Takahashi TSA102 on a Losmandy G-11 manually guided. The
camera was an ST2000XM with a field flattener. Exposure was 60 frames Ha @
60s each. Tools: CCDSOFT, K3CCDTools, and PS CS2.

Great image Louis!

You are certainly right about processing. It takes me about 3 times as
much time to process a deep-sky image than it does to take it.
