NGC 5905/5908
This pair in Draco is one of the last nice spring galaxies before summer
galaxy drought. This means that I have imaged them before, but only in b/w. I recycled this old luminance, which (although taken with a different camera (SXV-H9)) had almost the same field and scale as the new images. I spiced it up with data from four nights in April 2015. Taken from Berlin with a 10" Meade ACF at f/8 on a G11 mount, Trius SX 694 camera, 95x5min L, 24x5min each for RGB. Stefan |

I'd go nuts trying to image though your skies. You picked up some of the faint halo of the large central bulge of 5908. I had to work to get it to show in my far darker skies. I suppose a half moon or maybe even full moon gives me darker skies than you get at new moon yet I shut down once the moon is anything more than a crescent as I find the glow more than I want to deal with. Guess I'm severely spoiled!
