Default ASTRO: NGC 289

I still haven't processed all my Namibia images from last August and have
not even posted all of those that I have processed.

Here is NGC 289, a galaxy with very extended but faint spiral arms. As it
was clear that depth would be more important here than a large image scale I
imaged it with 2x2 binning (image scale 0,9 arcseconds/pixel).

Taken from Kiripotib farm with a 10" Meade ACF at f/8 on a MK100 mount,
Trius SX694 camera, 8x10min Lum, 4x10min RGB each.

Boy that has an interesting system of distant arms. Not familiar with the sky below the observatory wall I'd not known of its faint outer arms before.
