ASTRO: Pickering's Triangular Wisp
I have been imaging the eastern part of the Cirrus nebula in 2010
(http://ccd-astronomy.de/temp4/6992coloursmallneugut.jpg) and the western part in 2012 (http://ccd-astronomy.de/temp7/6960coloursmallgut.jpg) with my Skywatcher ED 120. This year I went for the middle part, known as "Pickering's Triangular Wisp". This time I used my 80/480mm TS triplet APO with a 3" flattener. The slightly larger stars to the upper right are not caused by the telescope but by my imaging train. Probably the CCD chip does not sit square, I have had problems with the upper right in the past with other scopes. Taken from the middle of Berlin with a 80/480 triplet APO on a H-EQ5 Synscan mount, Atik 383L+ camera, Baader filters, 11x20m Ha, 10x20m OIII, 4x2m RGB each.
