Astro:My best image of the year, so far: M27
I decided at the last minute last night to drive to Taylorsville Lake
because I wanted to get one last imaging session in this week before the weather turned bad. For a change, everything worked pretty well, and I got a really good set of images of Messier 27. I Just got done processing them, and here is the result: M27 DATE July 7-8, 2010 PHOTO Exposu 15 x 1.5 minutes Focal: 1000 mm, f/5 Master dark subtracted EQUIPMENT Imaging Scope: Konus 200 mm Newtonian Camera:Hutech Canon T1i with Baader Coma Corrector at ISO 800 Filter: Baader IR-UV cut Guide camera: StarShootAutoGuider Guide scope: Orion Shorty 80mm Mount: Losmandy G-11 with gemini Goto SITE & CONDITIONS Location: Taylorsville Lake, Kentucky Seeing: Very good Transparency: above Average SOFTWARE Stacking: DeepSkyStacker Processing: Photoshop CS3 |
