Default ASTRO: SH2-171, or NGC 7822 or CED 214 etc.

I first imaged this using H alpha for the Lum data and part of the red
data and RGB for the color. I centered on the star cluster. That image
is at:
http://www.spacebanter.com/attachmen...tid=1931&stc=1
L (h-alpha)=4x30', R=2x10+50% H-alpha, GB=2x10'
I wanted to see the difference using standard LRGB imaging. My skies
are so dark that I sometimes wonder if I need H-alpha data on objects as
bright as this one. This time I aimed a bit more to the south o pick up
some of the "Pillars of Creation" in this nebula that were out of the
H-alpha frame. But many of the same features are in both making a
comparison rather interesting. Each has its place. I can't decide
which I prefer.

14" LX200R @ f/10, L=4x10' binned 2x2, RGB=2x10' binned 3x3,
STL-11000XM, Paramount ME

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Rick, there is a lot of interesting detail in this nebula. I see about the
same level of detail in both images, from the "pretty pictures" perspective
I prefer the LRGB version.
