Taken from a farm just south of Blueknob State Park on 31 August
2008. Taken with a Canon 300mm F/4 lens at F/4. Three 20 minute
exposures at 100ASA using a Hutech modified Canon 40D. Image reduced
to 50% of original.

Another nice one. That lens does a great job. What software do you use
to process your images?

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Rick,

I use noise ninja on most images taken when the outside temp is over
50 degrees F (the 40D has a lot more noise than the 350D at summer
temps over 50 degrees). CCD stack to align, add, and normalize the
background. Adobe photoshop elements 3 for levels, color saturation,
and additional noise filtering if necessary (sometimes noise ninja
leaves "speckles").

Do you have the plug in for curves in Elements? It would be a lot
better than levels. Since I use Photoshop itself I don't use it but
have heard it works well.
