Default Astro: The Head and Heart of Scoripus

I got another clear evening Monday so I tried for the dark nebulas around
this region. The colors I believe are muted due to extinction (and lack of
processing skills). I tried Jason's technique and it made the colors pop but
I got a weird color grad. from the light pollution and the reddening from
the extinction. Anyway I used my modded Canon XTi with a olympus Zuiko
50mm set @ f/4 at 800asa. This is a blend of 16 x 2min images.

You have a lot better transparency down low than I do. Scorpio is in
gunk here even on a perfect night.

Horse got his top cut off. Getting the faint reflection nebula around
Antares is a challenge for a DSLR.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".
