Nice image scale on that. I wanted to get enough data on it to show the
tidal arm that comes off it but weather hasn't cooperated. I'd need
several nights.

Last night looked good. I moved to a focus star waiting 2 minutes for
the target to clear the meridian. Got focus then slewed back to the
target. Odd, it was blank. Tried again, blank. Went out to see what
the problem was -- it was raining! In two minutes it clouded up and was
now spitting freezing rain. Fortunately the target was low enough in
the sky the dew shield protected the corrector plate. Boy did I shut
down fast. Was clear by morning. ARGH

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

great picture. The AP180 obviously is a great scope for galaxies (and
probably everything else ;-)
