Default ASTRO: IC 2233

I started to image IC 2233 in February but then decided to change to a
brighter object as this seemed to be a rather faint target for my new 10"
Meade ACF scope. I only got 6x5 minutes, but I'll post it anyway as I don't
have many pictures of "superthin" galaxies (I guess this one belongs to that
category).

The most pleasing aspect of this image are the small star sizes in spite of
being an unsharpened image at a scale of 0.83 arcseconds/pixel. The
"protrusion" on bright stars to the upper right was caused by a guiding
error in one of the frames. As I had so little data I wanted to use all
frames I had.

Taken from the middle of Berlin with a 10" Meade ACF at f/6.4 on a G11
mount, SXV-H9 camera, 6x5 minutes.

The picture can also be found at

Stefan

I started in on this one a few months back but only got one cloudy 10
minute frame. Never did get a chance to try again. Maybe next year.

That came out well for your location and so little time. Looks a lot
better than my single frame!

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".
