Nice shot Stefan!
Your DEC problem is same that i still have in my scope, i am still figuring out if this due to allignment, electronics or mechanics of the mount. Appears to be HII regions at each end of the galaxy. I thought that star at the upper right was a foreground object but with HII around it makes me wonder if it is a bright cluster in the galaxy instead or just coincidence. Lots of star formation happened recently in this guy to make it so blue. It just got pushed up farther on my to-do list. Last night I tried to investigate a bloom problem I get in very cold weather. It was too cold. When you fire up the camera and before you turn on cooling it reports back it is at -42C now that's cold. Seems the filter wheel stuck and wouldn't turn. Rubber was just too cold or something. Now, this morning at at toasty -31C it is turning fine. Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
