Somehow I didn't add this trio to the list though I saved it for future reference. They are now. But imaging has to wait until this ice is out of the winter sky. Faint arms just don't register with it. My background without the ice and no moon is about 250 counts in 10 minutes, but with the ice in the winter it runs to 8500. I might as well have a full moon nearby. Sky looks dark but the CCD says otherwise. Actually once you are dark adapted you see the glow but have to know what to look for, it isn't obvious. Open clusters have to be my target if it ever clears up. Light snow all day but it didn't amount to much, a foot is on the way for tomorrow they say. Making up for last year. Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
