Default ASTRO: M31 and family

This also was shot using the 200mm lens on the 400D. This is a total of 30
minutes @ 800asa. It was 18F out so I went with piggybacking and let the
drive go without guiding while I sat inside drinking coffee.

Looks about the same as my old Tri-X shot, also 30 minutes but in black
and white.

18F is darned warm. Nights with sucker holes run from -19F to -26F
here. We get to 18 only when it has been overcast for a day or more.
That comes with snow as well like today.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

I guess you have to like that kind of climate to live there Rick

I think it is cold when it we have a light frost around here.

I was in Minneapolis once: in mid January back in about 87 or so. It was way
too cold for my liking.

I had a meeting at Control Data back when they existed...
