Default ASTRO: the faint one under a full moon

sh2-240 is a faint one to be shooting with a full moon overhead. the very
transparent skies helped a lot. but the moon made it tough: bad gradients.

as the skies get darker this will have to be shot again

Quite amazing for a full moon. Makes me think that I might try this also....
Which Halpha filter did you use?

I used the custom scientific 4.5nm fwhm halpha

that and the 3nm one I have I like the best

Looks like you will get good data from the ranch site. These images look
great.

Richard,

I'd be impressed with that image even if you took it with no moon! Great
shot!
