Here's a picture a friend took using a Canon DSLR attached to our 20-inch RC
at prime focus. I believe that this was just a simple snap and a jpg. It's
cloudy and rainy here tonight, and the weather doesn't look too good for a
while. I did get spend the same evening observing the comet with 7x50 and
20x80 binocs and noted some change over just a few hours.

I just got back a day early as I had to get back to this comet.

Notice in your shot how there's a bright region at the left edge of the
bright core. That's the nucleus, it is leaving the eruption behind!

I just took a series tonight and the two are a lot farther apart. I
thought it a star but The Sky says there's no star there. Also it has a
6" FWHM while all the stars are coming in at 2.8", even some brighter
than it. I'll have the processed image as soon as I can get it processed.

I went to hear a talk by Dr. Peter Schultz of Deep Impact fame. He and
I went to high school together and formed the Prairie Astronomy Club
back in 1961. He's going nuts over this guy trying to figure out what
is going on. And very frustrated being on the road and cut off from his
normal data sources while on a speaking tour.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Nice shot. I hope I get some clear skies before the comet ends it's current
activity...
