Default ASTRO: M31 Halpha at 10 x 20 minutes from FSQ/6303

I still need to shoot flats

but here is what it looks like after 200minutes exposure

it is curious how similar to Lum it looks. The key differences are the
exposure time needed to get to a particular density of signal and the
contrast of the HII knots

those are different than the Lum shots as I recall

Larger scale helps see the detail better. The other image was
reproduced too small to see much on my monitor. Now I can see the HII
regions. I thought that might be what I was seeing in the first post
but it was so small it was hard to tell what I was looking at. Shows me
where to aim the 14" now.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Yep, there is a lot more structure in the arms than in a "white light"
image. Still not easy to spot that this is Halpha.
