Mewlon 250 @ f12.

10 minute subs.

Imaged through a 1-2k marine layer with a 60Kt. jet stream overhead.

Summer is about the only time I'm not imaging through a marine layer.

from where do you image?

if you add ASTRO: to the subject line you will get through a lot of filters
that people use to keep the chaff out.

Hello Glen, nice to see you on this group again.
That's a very impressive scale and picture of M76.

Does anyone use them? I see as many replies to non-ASTRO posts as
ASTRO posts.

i believe some of the members do use them Peter

I don't because I read groups via Outlook express but some use a web based
method that includes the filter

An actor works all his life to gain recognition.
He makes guest appearances, spends a lot for publicity people and agents etc.
Then, when he finally becomes well known, he complains he cannot go out in public anymore.

If you're referring to the archive & interface through mysky.org, I
believe that disappeared many moons ago; the domain name appears to have
been taken over by a list of astronomical eBay auctions.

I have numerous filters active on my newsreader, but they hardly ever
get used in this NG: although I have it set so that non-"Astro" messages
appear in a different colour, there's actually very little junk -- and
the various religious loons, conspiracy-theory pedlars, and
pseudo-/anti- science kooks that infest the astronomy discussion groups
rarely, if ever, make appearances here.
