For some reason, neither of my news readers would display your photo.
They said it was attached but wouldn't display it nor give an error
message, just blank where the picture should be. I had to save it to
disk then look it it with ACDSee (old version). Not sure if others have
this problem or just me. Anyway once I got that figured that out I
could see the shot.

I took that area some hours earlier in the lunar day (a different one
some time ago), Piccolomini is mostly dark with only the central peak
hitting the sun as seen in my 10" f/5 with my wife's digital camera (old
Canon Powershot S-10) held to the eyepiece. It surprised me when it
came out.

Did not display in Thunderbird2006 xp,sp2,
I suspected an attached executable, but checking the
first bytes in notepad, it looked legitimate.
There must be another gremlin somewhere in the pic.
Xp did display thumbnail, and no display problems.
I checked after your mail, normally I distrust any
non-displaying pictures in TB.
Twice I found an executable file with jpg extension,
and also with no extension showing.
So be suspiciuos when you see this.

Rendered normally in Agent.

A scientist from Texas A&M University has invented a bra that keeps women's breasts from jiggling and prevents the nipples from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in.
At a news conference announcing the invention, the scientist was taken outside by a group of cowboys, who then proceeded to kick the **** out of him.

I know the dangers and checked as well. In fact I used my old 486 DOS
laptop to download and check it out just in case! But I should have
included that advice though most wouldn't know how to check. My main
reason for posting this was to say it was a real picture. Not a fake
which has happened here but not for a long time.
