.... This is how I got it to the corner that evening and then got it home. JMI would probably paint the wagon black and charge $500 for it as a "advanced telescope transportation system". For moving my Obsession 20 I have a "telescope assistant" (aka "wife") to help. A wagon would probably be cheaper. George N |

I use the wagon to haul stuff from the market 4 miles away down to home,
it's a long walk, but on May 28th I tied B10 onto it and it carried the scope up to my corner and then back hole. I have refectors I hang on it back side at night. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Sidewalk Astronomy www.sidewalkastronomy.info AD World http://www.adworld.netfirms.com/ "George Normandin" wrote in message ... remember, moving heavy dobs is always done with an old
refrigerator cart. I know you have five on hand. Just strap the scope on rocker box in and "go". That day I had a massive amount of people stoping to look. Most nights it's
a bit slow for me, but that night I had well over 100 people stoping. It was waring me out. -- "William Hamblen" wrote in message ... You English must live a deprived childhood without a Red Flyer wagon! Mine took me around the world, or at least a 5 year old's world more than 60 years ago. It's a classic brand name. For his next scope he'll need this one. http://www.radioflyer.com/wlw/wlw.html Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
