Default SpaceX Iridium-4 Next Mission Lights Up Sky Across SoCal

The late evening launch, plus weather and sky conditions allowed for
ideal lighting of the vapor trail as the F9 headed for orbit.

Created lots of UFO excitement in SoCal among the uniformed.

Some of the better "anticipated" videos capture the F9 first stage
ascending for a short while inside the plume of the 2nd stage exhaust
before returning to earth.

Default SpaceX Iridium-4 Next Mission Lights Up Sky Across SoCal

Just for the record this was a launch from Vandenburg. Along a nearly
due South trajectory out over the Pacific Ocean. At no time did the
rocket pass over any densely populated land areas.
