TV program recommendation -- Brilliant Minds
I highly recommend the following TV program that's airing on the
Discovery Science Channel tonight (Dec. 26) and tomorrow (in the USA, anyway). I saw it a while ago and was pleased to find a perspective I hadn't seen before -- how these extraordinary individuals differ from the rest of us and how those differences enabled them to make their important discoveries. Mike Simmons Brilliant Minds: Secrets of the Cosmos Considered rebels and misfits, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking overturn previous visions of the universe. Science Channel December 26: 6:00PM, 9:00PM December 27: 2:00AM, 5:00AM, 10:00AM, 1:00PM (times are Pacific Standard Time) 60 Minutes English |
