I saw storied Sirius tonight.
I know it wasn't Jupiter because Sirius was a pin point and Jupiter was
a disc. Also Sirius was east of a famous pattern formed by Betegeuse, Bellatrix, Alnitak, Alnilam, Mintaka, Saiph, and Rigel. While Jupiter made a triangle with a familiar pattern formed by Pollux and Castor. The earth's orbit moved both familiar patterns and Jupiter further westward over the course of the past weeks. -- Don Kuenz |
