Post-Truth Physics Journals

Natalie Wolchover, senior editor of Quanta Magazine: "The effort to unify quantum mechanics and general relativity means reconciling totally different notions of time. In quantum mechanics, time is universal and absolute; its steady ticks dictate the evolving entanglements between particles. Newton's "universal and absolute" time and Einstein's "relative and dynamical" time cannot be both true - one of them is false. Then why does Quanta Magazine recommend reconciling truth and lie (in Big Brother's world scientists reconcile 2+2=4 and 2+2=5)? Because the journal is post-truth - truth and lie harmoniously coexist in its publications, "with the lie always one leap ahead of the truth":

George Orwell: "Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.
