Papers on celtic astronomy or alike ?
Hi,
A couple of years ago, a researcher (from the U.S.A. or Europe) published some papers dealing with a strange coincidence between the profile of several constellations of the northern hemisphere (no more sure they were all in the zodiac, probably not) and celtic or northern civilizations trading posts around coastlines of western Europe (southern part between Irland and Greece if I remember well). For short, most of the bright stars of these constellations were exactly superimposed to those trading posts... I know there was a TV broadcast about this subject some years ago made by a german TV, but today there is no more trace of this study or from this author. Could some specialists in archaeoastronomy provide me any info about the work of this author or papers of interest ? Thanks in advance Thierry http://www.astrosurf.com/lombry |
