If it was so easy to change from the late 17th century dysfunctional
'solar vs sidereal' conception,it is just as easy to pick up the
original system which begins with the 1461 day cycle because without
these things,the link between planetary dynamics and terrestrial
effects will be impossible to research in any meaningful way.The 'new
' approach doesn't even bother to take account of Newton's agenda
founded on a Ra/Dec 'predictive' framework in that it is no longer
convenient for civil timekeeping purposes so they simply make things
up as they go along which has always been the case with the vicious

The truth is presented, simply, without any need to resort to
intimidation, lies, or meaningless jargon. And that truth is: the
Equation of Time results from the solar day of 24 hours being the
manifestation of a compound motion - while the stellar circumpolar
motion of 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds represents a simple
motion.

Like retrogades, the Equation of Time is resolved by accepting that
the Earth has an orbital motion around the Sun.

Simple motion: the orbital motion of Mars, or another planet, around
the Sun.

plus

Simple motion: the orbital motion of the Earth.

equals

Compound motion: the apparent motion of Mars, or another planet, in
our sky, complete with retrogade motion.

Similarly, the simple motion of the Earth, rotating regularly relative
to the fixed stars in 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds, combined
with the Earth's orbital motion, yields the solar day with its
irregularities noted in the Equation of Time.

So in claiming that 24 hours is the true rotation of the Earth, you
are acting exactly like the people who rejected Copernicus!
