I Don't Belive it!
About 20 mins ago I went outside just to get some fresh air. What do I find?
A Clear, Cold, Almost Windless sky overhead. Now why couldn't have been that way at 6:30pm instead of the galeforce winds blowing as there where? -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Sidewalk Astronomy www.sidewalkastronomy.info Astronomy Net Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/astronomy_net In Garden Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/ingarden Blast Off Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/starlords Astro Blog http://starlord.bloggerteam.com/ |

I have a friend with a small roll-off roof shed and he can be observing in about 3 minutes, or set up for CCD in a little longer, and he can close up just as fast. He has a Losmandy G-11 in the shed and two Newt tubes: a 10-in F/4.5 and a 6-in F/4. He also has an 8-in F/7 Dob that he can carry out as a unit for planetary observing. He has a TV, stereo, and a bar in the same shed for those nights when it clouds up but looks like it will clear late! George N |
