Did these women have nude images on computers they used at work??!

A former contractor who worked for NASA accessed nude photos of
seven women off their computers, then threatened to post the
photos on the Internet if the women refused to supply him with
more explicit photos, according to a report.

Richard Gregory Bauer, 28, of Los Angeles, was arrested
Wednesday and charged in a 14-count indictment with stalking,
unauthorized access to a protected computer, and aggravated
identity theft, the Orange County Register reported.

If convicted on all charges, Bauer could get 64 years in federal
prison, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office
for the Central District of California.

Bauer contacted the women using aliases such as “Steve Smith,”
“John Smith,” and “Garret,” the report said.. In some of the
communications, he would explain what he wanted to see in the
new photos that he demanded.

“(Y)ou do this and your nude photos stay private,” he told one
woman, according to the indictment, the Register reported.

In one instance, Bauer wrote to a woman and included a topless
photo of her, authorities said, according to the Register.

Bauer was a contractor at the NASA Armstrong Flight Research
Center at Edwards Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert, according
to the U.S. Attorney’s Los Angeles office, the Register reported.

You have an overactive imagination.

The article says a former NASA contractor accessed women's computers. It says nothing about whom the women are or whether the computers are their home or work computers.

In fact, the article does not even make clear whether the perpetrator (whom you interestingly appear to disdain less than his victims) was working under contract at the time he committed his crimes.

All in all a bad, misleading article caused you to jump to odd and wholly unsubstantiated accustations. Perhaps you may want to track down wherever Alex Jones is posting these days?

You don't have an ice cold mind, you are basically numb to astronomy and basic Earth facts.

Rich likes to attack NASA because they study the Earth, and he doesn't
like that.

Since NASA isn't the only providers of rockets today, they could confine themselves to studying OUTER SPACE and leave the Earth study to others.

Studying space is only half their job. Has been since day one. If they
stopped studying the Earth, they'd be violating their charter. They
are the branch of U.S. government tasked with Earth observations from
space.

Most of the Earth study stuff should be done by private companies because it's profitable to do it. Insurance companies, agricultural groups, mining companies, ocean surveyors, etc., can use the data. Unless NASA charges for their services, there are plenty of private companies that can do the same job, if they have access to lift vehicles.

Nope. The future of humanity rests on these observations. They should
be managed by a government agency (which can contract things out...
and already does) and paid for from public funds. There should not be
profit involved.

Yes, some earth observations are in that category. What about observations monitoring atmospheric pollution or climate change?

Any organisation that is unable to express the facts of a round and rotating Earth is in trouble as this is where space (planetary motions) and terrestrial sciences intersect as cause and effect. It is more important to know exactly how the 24 hour value for one rotation was arrived at than the fact itself so here it is -

As long as humanity uses a watch and the 24 hour day then the rotation rate is 15° per hour and once in 24 hours as per the Lat/long system. The day is broken up into components of sunrise, noon, sunset and midnight and these events happen once each 24 hour day as the planet turns 360 ° with these milestones anchored to noon hence AM and PM.

The total length of the noon cycle is Not 24 hours. If you used a sand clock or a water clock as a timer each time the Sun crossed your longitude meridian it would show different amounts of sand and water for each cycle. If you combined the sand or water for say 20 cycles and then divided them equally you would get an average amount and this is what the Equation of Time does - it creates the average 24 hour day using noon cycles as a benchmark.

As 'average' has roughly the same meaning as 'constant' (the average/constant flow of water through a pipe), the average 24 hour day connects to the Lat/Long system so that you can say the Earth rotates constantly at an average rate of 15 degrees per hour and 360 ° in 24 hours. This is the way the whole thing works so if you enjoy clever reasoning then you should enjoy how timekeeping works with the motions of the Earth. It is perhaps the first and last time I will explain this so take your time and discover the history of Longitude, the development of the calendar system and even the troublesome celestial sphere system ( which is giving you the false 23.93 hour value) but know that the planet actually turns once each 24 hour day.

I am not appealing to the mindless however much it appears as they exist in a no-man's land of their own design where they linked circumpolar motion directly to rotation and bypass the Sun in the process where cause and effect is the all important factor. NASA is therefore working against its own charter , not by ignoring the fiction of late 17th century RA/Dec modelling but by being silent on the most basic experience of astronomy and the motions of the Earth known to humanity.
