Dilated relative to *what*, itself? Or to us 'out here'? Remember, the
'relative' in relativity is all about seeing from alternate referance
frames. This most basic precept of relativity is what many (if not
most) professing relativists don't seem to 'get'. They can recite "the
math" till the cows come home, but don't seem to have the knack of
mentally transposing to alternate frames and experientially 'seeing
from' the alternate frame. oc

There is alternate frame - all of space and time was there remember. There was
everywhere.
