Default [fitsbits] CRPIX clarification

On Mon 2008-06-16T16:52:34 -0400, William Pence hath writ:
If anyone objects to the use of the phrase "regular lattice
structure" in that first sentence (Steve Allen?) then I suggest the way
to handle this would be to add a footnote to this phrase, which
elaborates or constrains the meaning within this FITS context.

I am satisfied with the words as Bill proposed and confident that the
discussion archives will serve as additional caveats about
over-interpretation of the meaning of "regularity" or even adjacency
of the elements in the data array.
