I got a fairly good shot of a flare from Iridium 26 as it passed over Palm Springs (Calif) tonight...

Neat! How bright was it? What settings did you use (ISO, aperture)?

The projected magnitude from Heavens-Above.com was -8. It was pretty bright! The EXIF data for the image is here...

Thanks, Florian. I may give it a try sometime. It might be a wait for one
that bright, though.
