JSC *seriously* threatened by Hurricane Ike?

It is between Highway 45 and the small town of Seabrook. It is at the
end of a small bay off Galveston Bay.

Looking at the satellite views, it surprises me that NASA wouldn't be
pushing for more public transportation. There are a LOT of parked cars
around the centre.
