Default Apollo 11 TV transmissions

On the DVD, the first two of the three TV transmissions from Apollo 11
on the way to the moon are listed as "unscheduled". Were they
broadcast at the time? (There's no commentary by the astronauts as
they usually did when the signal was going out to the world.)

....IIRC, "unscheduled" was defined as being not scheduled for network
rebroadcast. Generally they were used just for TV systems checkout,
which only required the crew to turn the cameras on and let Mission
Control check the feed conditions while the crew continued on with
whatever tasks were skedded for that time. I haven't found any
information yet(*) as to what scheduling criteria was used to
determine when to "schedule" an "unscheduled" transmission, but
hopefully if Sy or Jack are still lurking out there and haven't been
chased off by all the Bbo Hallr crap or the latest infestation from
the Guthball crowd, they can clarify this a bit.

(*) "Yet" = "It's probably in one of Rusty's PDF's, which I don't have
59 hours in a 12-day week in a 84 day month in a 831 day year to go
through all of them, dammit!"

Were these unscheduled broadcasts "classified", as landing hoax
proponents claim? e.g.

I noticed in one or two Gemini flights, in the white room they hand
the astronaut a stack of papers about a foot high! This must be the
user's manual or something.

No, that's the rental paperwork. They had to provide proof of insurance if
they wanted to take the collision waiver.

At least it is not as bad as the paperwork for buying a house.
