John Young to Retire from NASA

Still, he's been at it more than long enough. It would be really interesting
for him to write a book on his 40+ years with the program. Actually, he's
leaving within a few months of the 40th Anniversary of his first flight, Gemini
3.

It's almost too bad he didn't stick around to get a ride
on a CEV. Maybe he can pull a John Glenn later in life.

Which is a pity, as having the input of someone who had been around NASA
that long would have been priceless.
