I keep thinking I've seen this spacecraft before, but I can't remember
where. (Or, more importantly, why, since I was born over twenty years
after this article was published.)

It reminds me of the craft described by Alexander Martynov in his
"Manned mission to Mars" lecture.

It also looks like some of the solar power reflector arrays from the old
SPS/L5 days.
