Default Left - right motion problem on my LX90

Hi all,

I think I have a problem with my LX90.

I have a fault with the scope not being able to move left - right when any speed other then 9 is selected. I know I had a faulty coil cable because eventually I lost power altogether. I have no replaced the cable and I can power the scope but the problem with left - right motion persists. Strange thing is it workes fine on speed 9, but if I select a slower speed then it doesnt work. Up/down motion is Ok at any speed.

I am wondering whether this is a motor problem or a fault with the autostar?
Does the LX90 have seperate motors for fast and slow motion?
Is there a gear mechanism and could this be at fault?

If its a mechanical fault, where can I get spares or get it repaired please?
