When man has feared something, he has always created weapons to defend
himself from it. This is no less true for Ideas than it is for Bears
or Dinosaurs.

When the descendants of Noah settled in Ur, they built a city -
because they feared being 'scattered abroad.' Being descendant of men
who had just escaped from a destroyed world, they also feared that the
stars might fall on them. Their new Astrologer Priests put their mind
to rest by believing the heavens to be a hemi-spherical vault. Thus
(by giving it Form) they inferred it was a substance with the strength
to support the heavenly bodies.

The Greeks later named the heavenly substance "Quintessence," the
"Fifth Substance." Thus (by naming it) they assigned it the strength
and stability of Substance.

By the time of Copernicus, the Quintessence had assumed the texture
and strength of crystal. However, Tycho Brahe observed a comet cross
the orbits of the planets, and announced, "There are no solid spheres
in the heavens."

The Crystal Spheres had no more than fallen when the Sophists rushed
in an "other than real" substance to reassure humankind (Deus ex
Machina) that the heavenly bodies would remain securely in their
places.

Modern cosmological theories replaced the Aether theories of the
nineteenth century. They belong to a tradition that has sought to
explain the phenomena of nature by a cosmic continuum: a modern
"geometrical Space-Time" replacing a mechanical all-pervading
"Aether."

Thus, the "Fabric of Space" is a replacement of that "Other Than Real"
substance which was a replacement for the crystal spheres of the
Greeks, which replaced the vault of the Babylonians.

The Fabric of Space of the Modern Sophists, or "Expanding Curved
Space," reveals a fundamental error which has been handed down from
the Sumerian Astrologer Priests to the Modern Cosmologists. Namely,
Shape does not Exist A SE or PER SE, but only as an attribute of
Substance. As they were unaware of the Force of Gravity, or Inertia
and Momentum, the Sumerian Astrologers adopted the wrong assumption
that the apparent arched shape of the heavens kept the stars from
falling.

The false hypothesis of curved space was reborn in Modern Babylon by
confusing a Logical Concept with the Real. According to Einstein, a
gravitational field may be understood as a curved plane analogy (an
example of sophistry) of a four dimensional sphere. He compared it
(his sophisticated analogy) to a pool table with depressions near the
holes.

Space is not a substance and has no surface, and thus has no Form or
Shape. A geometrical concept is not a real thing; it "exists" only in
the minds of the Sophists and Pythagoreans. To confuse the Real with
the Logical and conclude with "curved space-time" is pure delusion.

However, the observational evidence has been rather unkind and
unforgiving of Modern Science's "Curved Space" idea. Therefore, Modern
Science quietly and with not too much fanfare modified that theory -
kinda - with the "Expanding Universe" Theory.

See, "Well, maybe we can't assure humanity that the stars will remain
in their places, but we can tell them the stars are moving away from
us." Ah, so the "expanding universe" theory seemed fine.

However, it was not too long until "Red Shift/Blue Shift" and the
science of Astro Metrics and Astro Mapping began to drop small rocks
into the gears of "expanding universe" - deus ex machina - theology.

The problems seemed to mount - over the last 60 or so years - faster
than Science could explain them. One fairy tale followed another into
the pages of "Science" and "Astronomy," and "Scientific American"
until these once respected pages are now filled with more, and better,
science fiction than produced by Asimov and Clark. In fact, there is
now no boundary between Fiction and Science.

First, as I seem to remember it, was the "background radiation" which,
it was quickly announced, "is the after-glow of the Big Bang." Ah,
well, Modern Science had already severed itself from its roots in fact
and experience, so this bit of sophistry didn't seem to be too glaring
ridiculous.

"The Great Attractor" followed Black Holes and Quasars to fame and
renown; in the effort, of course, to explain what Observers saw but
cannot explain - again, deus ex machina. There, See, Black Holes solve
the problem.

Science, unable to explain the "missing Neutrinos" - which theory, and
some observations, demanded the Sun emit - decided that the missing
neutrinos were not missing after all; no, they had just opened their
suitcase during the journey and changed their suit so that we didn't
recognize them. Ah! Once more, deus ex machina...

About then, the Astro-map-makers convinced their Peer Reviewers that
there is a great amount of motion in the heavens -- all those stars
seem to be "going somewhere." Now, according to the Theory of
Relativity, we are free to choose the point of reference: Therefore,
they must be moving toward a "Great Attractor." The alternative - that
the "Great Attractor" is moving toward us, or that we are the ones who
are 'going somewhere' is, after all, unthinkable.

Unable to account for the observed, and measured, motions of certain
large bodies, Astronomers decided there was some mass present that
they could not see, and therefore it was "Dark Matter." The solution
to the problem lies in understanding what Light is -- but having
welded themselves to the "duel nature" of light (light as a 'mass-less
photon' or 'energy wave-form',) the only alternative is to call again
upon the medieval mysterious Aether -- now renamed "dark matter."

So Light has no mass, but the Aether ('dark matter') which we cannot
see, does have mass; and this mass is enough to keep the heavens in
their assigned - expanding - places. Never mind that this "doctrine"
is diametrically opposed to the observable evidence.

All of this, of course, is an invention to protect humanity from two
things he fears and absolutely cannot admit: A Creator, and, that the
powers of the Heavens have been shaken and the stars are falling.

How can it be; that humanity, (the ultimate spawn of Evolution!) was
born into a dying, collapsing universe from which he cannot escape?
